I had gone to a Military Training Camp recently and had an amazing experience. We used to wake up at 6 am and then there used to be PT and then march past or drill. After that there used to be a lot of adventurous activities. We had done Para sailing whose experience was epic and outstanding;you can actually feel the sky and air and it was wonderful,Zorbing wherein you are in a ball and you are being rolled;it was enjoyable,Rock climbing wherein you have to climb a mountainous rock;I was scared but I was able to climb it effectively and then there was Rappelling as well wherein you have to come down from the mountain'it was scary but adventurous too, there were races too.In all,it was an amazing experience and it made me gain my self confidence and made me overcome my fear of heights.A must have experience in life.

This sounds interesting. It almost sounds like a summer camp for adults. LOL

@mommaj This was voluntary.. a military training camp to explore the potentials in us and to have a look into army life.

Hehehe sort of but it was much harder than it sounds lol because our instructors were army people, they were so damn strict and firm.

I see that you enjoyed it a lot. I had to do a military service in my country, and I would have gladly given you my place if I had known you at this time.

@shubhu3 It was mandatory for all men in my time, but it is no more, and it is a good thing if you want my opinion. If a few people were enjoying it like you do, many had the feeling that they were wasting a year of their life inside military barracks. You know, I had already a master in laws and I had to stop my studies, so I was not very happy. An army with only professionals is better.

@topffer Oh it was like that. That was a little unfair in the sense like if you wanted to do something else but your are forced into something else. But ya we can take the other way round as well. You have studied law as well that;s brilliant, you have an experience of two fields altogether. That's good.

I give it a miss! I definitely do not want to wake up so early for PT. I wonder if you get paid for it or you have to pay for it.

Heheh we had to pay certain amount but that was not much. And hehe yeah waking up early used to be an issue for us as well but then it became a habit and it's like after coming back home also for few days I used to wake up early and it felt good heheh.
