Winter hands

My hands always get dry in the winter time. Lotion needs to be applied consistently, and missing an application or 2, or even having my hands in water longer than usual, means dry skin. And once they are dry, it is a difficult battle to moisturize them. This year I have also developed a callous on my left index finger(maybe from holding my coffee cup?) and it has cracked. Hopefully I can get the dryness under control soon. These hands look rough. But then again, I have never had dainty hands.
