Paid product testing websites?

Hey! Yet another discussion from me about paid product testing websites. Has anyone ever had any experiences with this? I am a member of SEVERAL survey sites where I will occasionally run across a survey that is a “pre-qualifier” for doing some product testing. In fact, I’ve received my first one (ever) in the mail the other day. I think the testing and follow-up survey pays somewhere around $10 in a check – not something to get rich on but definitely something I’m willing to do. However, I have only run across this a few times – over the course of perhaps hundreds of surveys. It seems like these opportunities are very random and limited. So, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with a paid site that is ONLY for product testing? Or are you like me, where you just run across these opportunities seemingly at random?

I have tried one of the offers that is similar to this . However , along the course of answering it it asked for some details about my credit card . I quit .

Thanks your input. It's hard to when sites are legitimate or not - that's why I always like to get a word-of-mouth referral. If you find any, let me know!

You really don't want a strictly product testing site anyway, in my experience. Yes these site do exist, in a sense. But these websites are disguised Cost-Per-Action websites. They tell you that they want you to test products, but all they are really worried about is you completing a trial offer through their website, most of these requiring a credit card. This is what generates commission for the website, as you will notice that you are rarely asked for your review or experience afterwards. Now this doesn't make it a scam, per se. Most of the sites that I've ran across will pay you what they state for trying the product. However, in my experience the payout for doing trials on these sites is way less than what you can get for completing those same offers on an Incentivized Freebie Website (IFW). So, the best bet for product testing is to stick to sites that are strictly for legitimate survey taking. Those are the only places where free product testing happens online.
