Good-bye Persona Paper

Wrote my last article on Persona Paper. I will miss that place. Not that it didn’t have issues. The ads slowed the page loading down. I kept my sound on mute when I when there because of the many obnoxious ads that played over and over again and couldn’t be stopped. But it was a friendly place, and the people nice and interesting.
Also, the owners had designed it so that it was virtually free of spammers, scammers and plagiarizes that have plagued other sites. They also made it a practice—not just a “policy”—to be open with members about problems they were facing and steps they were taking to address those problems.
I’ll pop in to read, comment and say good-bye until the site goes away, but I won’t write any more articles. I’ll miss the place.

Thank goodness for the @msiduri as I wouldn't have recognized you from PP. We are all seemingly coming over here.

I have been a member here for ten years and little has changed - but when it comes to a website like this, that's a good thing. I was inactive for a while but recognize a couple of names here and there and almost every day I see someone new join the site that I knew from one of the others.

It was buzzing and it was fun for a while, but there were so many scammers I spent time each day removing their crap from my posts. And the plagiarism! It was rampant. I was never a high earner there. Maybe that's why I'm so impatient with everything else. I was paid everything I was owed, but some of my friends were not. One of my friends had his account deleted without explanation just before he would have reached payout.
