most our decision are based upon some expectation,we expect that our partner should be smart intelligent and any other thing.same goes for any other scenario, and when the result is not anything that we had expected it makes us sad,and out of that sadness and gloom we tend to harm the very relationship that was going to make us happy. is expecting something on the face value is the solution of our problems or it is important to have some expectation?

Whatever we decided for our lives, there is no right or wrong. It is matter of how we handle the outcome and learn from it.

@karlmarxx Not all people. Let us not put it in general. Having a good decision is also a learning process. For those people who never learn from their mistakes. They are just simply stubborn and nothing will happen to them.

@Shavkat no it is common trait i suppose.say for instance,if you are gullible you will always believe in other people easily.similarly different people have different problems that always stay with them i guess it is innate.

saying that one should learn from mistake is probably a cliche, people spend their whole live doing the same thing and they never learn

Life has taught me not to count on anyone but yourself so you never feel betrayed or deceived. so this is the best solution for everyone to have to lie and sooner or later it is understood.

Actually expectation give us hope and faith about something. However, too much attached to our expectations can disappoint us to a higher degree. In my case, I do expect for something so I could attract it, but I don't just depend on that, I do check on the other possibilities and outcome of events. So that I won't be disappointed that much.
