I bought my son's computer and while he was setting it up major crash. No matter what he tried nothing worked and it kept crashing. He finally had to do a recovery which wiped everything he had installed. The pictures and other things he would have put on his new computer are lost, but it is working now and we still need to set it up for me to get online. I was going to run a cable to the modem but found they are very expensive so I'm going wifi for now. At least I still have my laptop unless it decides to blow up or something.

Yuck, that sounds like it was a pain. Sorry to hear about the crash. Let's hope that laptop stays in one piece and doesn't blow up Good luck with everything

The computer is a very good one, in fact he was playing a game on it last night. My laptop is getting old.

@T_gray My last laptop did that too and I lost a novel I was working on, fortunately, I kept notes in my brain. LOL

@irishidid I have a rather old laptop myself that has crashed once, but luckily I got working again. I lost everything too.

At least, if the computer crashes again and you have to get your money back, you know where to find the seller!

That's true. The computer has always worked great so we're not sure what happened. Maybe it was offended he sold it.

I have spent a little of my free time working on fixing the computer the shockwave message kept popping up and it was driving me nuts so i finally took a minute and fixed it and i have been working on updating it i updated some of the drivers and stuff and it is doing fine.having computer problems can be very distressing at times.
