A wonderful and tiring day with my daughter and granddaughter.

Today I went to buy toys for Sofia, but I finally returned empty handed. The shop that used to sell reasonable priced toys is not where it used to be and now, instead, there are 2 shops at that mall witll posh toys that coste a king´s randsom.
I bought some candy and icecream to Sofia and promised I´d buy some toys elsewhere. She has to learn that grandma is not rich.
After that, my daughter invited me to a club where she pays a monthly sum to use it. It had a big warm spa with bubbly water and there we were until our fingertips became wrinkled. It would have been relaxing except that Sofia (5 years old) did not get drown by miracle. I had forgotten how active children can be: it tired me completly.
Claudia was going to leave me at the Super, but I decided to go tomorrow. Now I will take the nap I did not take after lunch.

I know of other places where I can buy cheaper toys. I wouldn´t spend a lot on toy for a 5 year old.

What used to be my fun time and that is to be with youngsters is now slowly being excluded from the list of fun things in my life. I do not invite little people any more. They are a bore for one thing and have the talent to sap whatever energy I have. But when they say they want to come I do not say no and experience the very same thing that you have described. Yes. I too have to forego my siesta (lol)

Those little people can be exhausting. I had the three year old for ten days. I was wiped out.
