Do you know anything about the mob in Hong Kong which happened in the Chinese New Year ?

When I turned on the TV the second day of our Chinese New Year in Hong Kong, I was seeing a mob happened one of the most busy district in our city. over 50 police was injured because the guys were throwing stones bricks which they have found along the street to the police. Many other people was injured and arrested as well. It looks like the mob was being well organized and planned before it started. Although I am not sure this is the case or not but at least everybody has such a feeling after watching on the TV news. I hope this can be over soon and it will never happy again in this city and I am sure the police will have further investigation and report in this case. It really spoiled the happiness and celebration of our Chinese New year since Southern Taiwan just experienced a great earthquake on her soil. Many people got killed and injured. share with us about your feeling and comment on this if you knew anything about this ?

That news will make the economy decline the number of tourists. If it will not be straighten up the people involved, this will be a big issue. It may happen in other countries, but Hong Kong is a big city that needs to keep peace and order.

I hope it's not bad omen, a lot of people are superstitious when it comes to the Chinese New Year

This is part of the "Occupy Central" activities that the "Hong Kong Independence" group are trying to use to gain popularity. It isn't working. It's only effect so far has been to temporarily shut down the local economy by crowding out the main business districts. And the group are using weapons against police who are out-numbered & being badly injured by uneducated youth who like to dig up the paving & throw it at police, one by one. It's being funded & stirred up by those high up trying to drag China into WW3 with the USA, who are currently cruising around the South China Sea, violating International Laws in the name of a Freedom of Navigation Charter which the US never signed! They are looking for Any excuse to involve themselves in Any conflict in that area.

That is scary. I would hate to be in the middle of that mob. Crowds like that would give me a heart attack!
