Should Patyon Manning Retire?

There are two ways to look at this question. From a health point of view he should retire. From a football point of view the answer is not so obvious. Denver has a great defense so he does not have to carry the team. He might actually win another Super bowl. What do you think?

A third Superbowl in unlikely. That said players are playing longer these days in all sports, but really the decision is his and his alone.

Thanks for the e-mail. Payton is a great competitor and it will be extremely difficult to leave the game.

He has to be tempted to retire on top. It's the sweetest way to go. I guess it depends on his health and if the Broncos were just a fluke this year.

He is a great competitor and it will be difficult to retire. Denver beat some great teams to win that Super Bowl. I appreciate his enormous contribution to the game.
