The victories of trump and Sanders were anticipated. You have to understand what's going on. Americans are fed up with the status quo and establishment politicians who only care about their positions and don't follow through on campaign promises. People are looking at Trump and Sanders as outsiders not representing Washington elitists in their ivory towers who don't give a damn about the people.

Yes this is true I believe. But they're both farther left and right than the usual candidates, and Im a bit worried whether or not that's a good thing.

@buttheadface932 Yes, it is bothersome that both Trump and Sanders are so extreme in their stances but mainstream politicians and what Washington is doing to us has caused this situation.
