I love spam in the morning

Oh a good bit of spam with tomato soup and toast. That was a meal offered to us when visting my great grandmother. I didn't really have a taste for it any other time of the year, of course I can't say it was offered anyway. When I cam to the internet I was introduced to a new form of spam. The nonsensical repetitive type that helps only one person, and sometimes not even that. It is 5:05 AM EST (so 4:05 AM in mylot land) and I have reported and tagged atleast 20 "disgustings" (see what I did ther!) Ah but I would rather have spam with tomato soup. Which do you prefer? Spam or "potted meat" ?

When it comes to the pork luncheon meat variety I am definitely a Viking at heart and love the stuff.

Definitely not very healthy, but very good. I've not had any in awhile though. Potted meat was my go to.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Potted meat does not appeal to me at all. Even as a child I would never eat that. In fact, I cannot remember seeing any for the past few decades and was not aware that it still existed.

@Asylum It does over here, atleast it did a few years ago. Of course I can't say that's much of a surprise, the FDA lets us eat anything!

I want my spam a bit toasted please. And that soup sounds delicious. And what do those spammers think they will get? Aside from annoyed readers that is.

I like my spam sliced, battered and fried. It is very soon gone after that!

@ScribbledAdNauseum Would you prefer "hung, drawn and quartered" to "sliced, battered and fried"? It doesn't apply quite so well to the kind that comes in tins (unless you are artistic).

@owlwings Even being artistic there wouldn't be much to work with!

I can't say "battered" but I do like spam fried. Also liver mush, in fact I will only eat liver mush if it is fried. Oh and Mustard is good with both.

I remember my mother preparing fried SPAM for dinner and sometimes to put in sandwiches for lunch. I haven't had any in a very long time. Probably not since the Carter Presidency.

spam and fried rice. I've never thought to combine the two. I think it'd be interesting for sure.

@brokenbee Rice isn't a part of our regular diet here. We might eat it with chicken on occasion, or with a takeout meal, but otherwise no, not so much.

@ScribbledAdNauseum we eat most of these foods with rice - luncheon meats, hams, bacons, hotdogs and other cold cuts.

It's a no brainer. I would prefer the meat variety of spam to the stuff we sometime get on the Internet.

Definitely! Especially when it pertains to spam here! Email spam can be better ignored!

I am sure Alex is asleep. IT does appear that the spammer has stopped for now. Do you have either / or spam / potted meat in singapore?
