Weird and sad...

Our nieghbor, the one that's going to come stay with us for a bit, is moving. ;( Today, a lady (don't know what her title would be) had and "estate sale" at her house. Our neighbor went to stay at her daughter's house for the day, and she'll be coming to our house in a bit for dinner. Mom and I can see across the street to her house from the front window (I also saw a lot of this when I took Angel for her walks), and it's been weird watching strangers go in and out of the house carrying out stuff. ;( The lady's lived in that house for at least twenty years, but now that her husband's gone and her daughter's moved out, it's just her in that big house, and she can hardly go up and down the stairs 'cause her knees are so bad. ;( I know it will be better for her in a new place, but a bummer for my Mom, 'cause she and this lady get along really well (even though Mom's ten years older). ;( This lady's husband died not long before my Dad did, so sadly they have that for a bond. The lady's always been there when Mom needed something, like when Mom had cancer in her kidney and she needed a ride to the doctor or whatever. ;( I know the lady said she'd be over to visit from her new house and all, but still a bummer that she's moving. :(
