Who is excited about the new HBO show Vinyl? It premieres tomorrow(Sunday) with a two hour episode and I can't wait. I think this is a fresh concept for TV, with a great cast and I hope it does well thoughts?

I'm not sure what the concept is for this show. However I am a 70's girl so I have lots of vinyl, my husband and I have probably 500 albums between us.

the show takes place in the 70's and is about a music executive who tries to save his label by signing new and diverse acts

I saw a couple trailers / previews for it, not sure if I will watch it now or when it replays during the week. Tomorrow is the season opener for Better Call Saul so I am stoked for that (and then Vikings)

I never put my turntable up, and didn't wait for hipsters to decide vinyl was 'cool' again. I have always bought releases on vinyl if they were available. But now, the prices have been driven sky-high because of the 'hip' factor. Where have those people been for the past 30 years while dedicated album lovers have always been playing them?
