A report from Sports Illustrated reporter Peter King on Sunday said the Cleveland Browns are interested in signing free agent to be quarterback Brock Osweiler if he decides not to sign a new deal with the Broncos before the start of free agency in March.
Osweiler who has played four seasons as the backup quarterback of the Denver Broncos behind Peyton Manning since 2012 will become a free agent in March since his four yeard deal expired at the end of the 2015 football season with the Broncos winning their Super Bowl title in the history of their franchise by beating the Carolina Panthers by a final score of 24-10 on February 7, 2016.
Osweiler has stated he wants to remain with the Broncos since he will likely be their starting quarterback in 2016 if Peyton Manning retires or the Broncos decide to let him explore playing football for another team since they may not to pay him his salary to remain with the team in 2016.
The Browns have on their roster quarterbacks Josh McCown, Austin Davis, Connor Show and Johnny Manziel. The Browns are expected to release Manziel at the start of free agency.
Osweiler would be wise to remain with the Broncos since they will enter the 2016 football season as the defending Super Bowl champions. Osweiler wants to remain with the Broncos if they willing to pay him his market value.

well, I just hope they have a winning season next year, my dad is a Browns fan and every year he is disappointed because they end up with a bad team. I can't even remember the last time the Browns were in the playoffs.

I know what you mean. My brother in law is also a Browns fan.
