No one can fight God and win. It is so much better to become his friend and follow his commandments. What do you think?
2 Chronicles 13:12 American Standard Version (ASV)
12 And, behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against Jehovah, the God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

You are so right. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. He loves us so much and just wainting for us to come to him. I don't know where I would be without God. I would be in a worse place without him, than I am with him, that is for sure.

Many misunderstand that God is our Father (the parent) and that he loves us, wants the best for us and is teaching us how to succeed in life and how to have a grand future. He allows us to go through rough times but is always there watching and making sure that we end up well. It will work out well. All will work out well in time. We just have to trust him. Life is not just 100 years or so but can be an eternity and there are so many good things coming.
Proverbs 3:1-6 New International Version (NIV)
1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]

@1hopefulman My favorite verse is Proverbs 3: 5-6. I read the NKJV, so it is worded just a little differently, but has the same meaning. I have learned that I do need to trust him in all things, as he knows what is best. I think we all have a tendency to run ahead of God, but we need to fall back, and let him lead and he will. I know he will see me through all my problems and I know I will be thoroughly blessed as well.

@rosekiss I like to use different translations but one of my favorites is the American Standard Version.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.1 person likes this

The last two times I fought god we tied. Since the last fight we've decided not to go all out again. Sure they were practice dream battles, but in both case the world was destroyed. We don't really want that to happen in reality.
We actually are friends. But just because you are a friend of someone that doesn't mean you agree with them completely.

Pharaoh learned the hard way. But all through the age some have tried to destroy the Bible or hide his name but have failed miserably and will continue to fail miserably.

Remember a day with God is equal to a thousand human years so things happen on a different time scale. The Roman empire fought Christianity and which one doesn't exist anymore?
