I Am Overloaded…Jeep

The fun is always in the eyes of adventurer. The driver and his dispatcher are securing the jeepney before traveling to Kalinga from Bontoc province. Taking off from Baguio city around 6:00 AM, the arrival time will be expected at 11:00 AM. Take the time to go on the run to get the last trip going to Tinglayan of Kalinga, approximately 12:00 PM. You will be lucky if there is only a few passengers, most of the time the people will ride on jeepney’s top load. There is no other option if you are in a hurry, so feel free to enjoy the scenery in an open air. That’s really a fun moment.

This actually what happens to far flung places here in the Philippines , where jeepneys are very rare . Thus , people would really ride even on the top of the jeepney just to be able to reach their destination on that day .

@SIMPLYD The scarcity of transportation really makes them no choice. As for me, it is also fun to try. But I still consider my safety, too.

@Shavkat I think in this case , i would choose to go inside the jeepney . So, one must always be early to get the best seats .

@SIMPLYD I also prefer inside the jeepney. But the rough road, the feeling is also a bit apprehended.

I've seen this kind of scenario when I went to mountain province. I think it is dangerous but the people don't seem to mind at all.

@salonga You said it right. It seems that the situation is normal. I've tried riding on the top load but I secure myself at the side of the jeepney just in case something will happen.
