Avoided Snacking on Junk Foods

We are now back home after our long road trip this Valentine weekend. One of the things that I always do during long trips on the road is snack on something when I get bored, or when I get hungry but feel too lazy to stop along the way. Most of the time, the snacks are bought from gas stops and consist mainly of chips and chocolates. This time, I am glad that I was able to avoid the unhealthy snacks. I brought a bag of organic, unsalted almond nuts. Of course I took care not too overeat as it is also fatty. The whole trip, I was able to eat only half of the bag (and I shared most of it with the boyfriend). And whenever we stop at gas stops to stretch our legs or fill up the tank, I avoided the chips and chocolates, and even said no to pop and soda.

Most people wouldn't be able to do that. Personally, I wouldn't. Congrats!

@Tierkreisze Yes, I do. I miss the spicy suka for sawsawan and spicy fried dilis. It's been three years since I had any of those.

@Raine38 I'd have a really hard time saying no to anything spicy, especially spicy chicharon. Do you like spicy foods too?
