Some of us who are already used to pre-occupied with things almost twenty four a day, seven days a week, could not bare to be idle for even just for a moment. We are used to be productive and workaholic that idle time is a big no-no, but sometimes we do need a break from this monotony busy bee that we are so here are some things that I do when I feel that it is my idle time: 1. When at home, I try to read, any stuff, especially that communications medium are easily available online. I try to read some information but current events and other topics that I am interested. At least, I will not feel left behind even with the world happenings, even I am just in the comforts of my home. 2. I try to do my past hobbies. I have tried doing cross stitching before to check if I could do it. Surprisingly, I was able to finish a "Mona Lisa" design which, by the way, for sale now. 3. Try a new hobby. I am inclined in the arts. I am currently, trying the basics of painting. I bought some materials, and will try to do a portrait of my niece once I start. Wish me luck. 4. Cook a new recipe. When I was out of the country, I learned to cook some local dishes. I am planning to cook another recipe from a different country, maybe a Thailand recipe, perhaps. These are just some of the things that I do if I think it is my idle time, at least when I am at home. Still being productive.

I have so many things to do, I don't have time for all of them. Then I added myLot! I read, do jigsaw puzzles, watercolor, write a blog, knit & crochet, make pocket letters and cards, make felted items, like coffee cup warmers... the days just fly by and I didn't get to everything.

@else34 I also like walking. If I have enough time, I usually walk from my house to the town proper. It serves as my exercise.

@SIMPLYD I do agree that there is no enough time for having a regular job. I am also in your position before. Now, I am a full time online tutor. I can handle the time. But I am not closing my door to have a regular job in a NGO.

Sounds like good things. I either read, work on speakers, or practice a musical instrument.
