Day 8 – Reversal Esther 8 There are many times in our lives we would like to reverse our situations, particularly when life treats us unfairly. Job loss, divorce, trouble with the law, trouble with children, and trouble in general. We would all like to change the situation and make it right. Sometimes we can. We just need to know the proper channels to go through to get everything back on the proper path once again. King Ahasuerus had granted Esther’s request, but that didn’t fix the situation. There was still the matter of the letters Haman had sent throughout the Persian Empire allowing everyone to take up arms against the Jews and kill them. Esther once again sought the king’s favor, and once again the king granted her request. He couldn’t stop what was about to happen, but he could give the Jews the ability to defend themselves when the time came. And for fear of the Jews, many people became Jews. As Christians, we face struggles, hardship, and all that life can throw at us. Yet, as we face our hardships, we know where they originated from – Satan, our mortal enemy, seeks to destroy us wherever we go and whatever we do. With the authority of Jesus Christ, we have been given the opportunity to stand against him, declaring in the name of our King, he has no right over anything that belongs to us. He must stand down and flee. We can reverse our situations. We can take back what the enemy stole from us. When we stand together, we will never fall, nor will we fail in anything we put our hands and hearts to do. Are you ready to reverse your situation? Are you ready to take back what the enemy stole from you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYI0AoXlOwE We can’t travel through this life alone. We all need somebody to help reverse the problems in our lives. Let’s pray: Father, help me take back what Satan stole from me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
