A Sign of Insecurity: Would You Agree?

Some people have the common notion that they perceived a certain person with good physical attributes. In some point, it appears to be a sign of insecurity. In some people thinking, having cosmetic surgery is the answer for a great success in career aspect. Since some companies or an institution doesn’t look for their credentials, rather the looks matter since they can just be a product endorser and the like. However, if the person who possess good looks and have remarkable credentials; people perceived them that they don’t have the ability to work in an institutions. Since they think that they just only have beauty and nothing to offer. It became a stigma for some who cannot make it and landed to what they aspire for.

Yes some who have good looks can be at a disadvantage as you say, because others perceive that they only got somewhere because of their looks. Not true in all cases. People assume too much without thinking over facts or possible facts.

@TiarasOceanView I do think that people should sustain their humility despite having the good physical attributes. Sometimes they are out-of-control.

Well I believe it is your personality that attracts people's perceptions rather than look to certain extent. In today's world good looks have many advantages , but at the same time do have cons too. It is a common notion with people " Beauty do not complement Brain all the time "

In South Korea, Cosmetic surgery became a necessity because people who looks good have more chances of getting hired if they look good. On the other hand, there are people who dont have the conventional beauty or may be even considered ugly in other people's standards but their confidence makes them good looking. In other words they were able to pull off what their were genetically given.
Lucy Liu and Pokwang have the same face. In the US Lucy Liu is seen as one of the prettiest and sexiest women in America. In the Philippines Pokwang is seen us ugly and funny.

@CaptAlbertWhisker In some point, it is really a necessity for the celebrities to have cosmetic procedures to their facial features. It can boost up their self-confidence. But others would tend to change their good to bad persona.
