People have their own beliefs into something. Even mythological creatures had been pictured into their mind. It could be the scariest or not, they are still considered different. How about in real human being, some people in my country describe a certain person that sounds inappropriate criticism, a “shrimp-headed” man. Why? If a man has a great body figure but no face value, they are called shrimp-headed man. It sounds impolite to describe a person like this. But then, you cannot tell other people to stop. I guess this is also a sign of bullying; it is not healthy to do such. You can make or break their lives.
In reality, some people are born to criticize others. It seems natural for them to nibble innocent souls. They don’t mind hurting other people. The worst thing, they tend to spread the pet name within circle of the community. However, some people who are not fortunate to possess good facial features taking advantage in entertaining the local public. It is evident for those involved in entertainment industry. Money does matter for them, they ignore the fact of being bullied or criticized. They took it as a challenge to outwit the chances. Frankly speaking, they accepted as a profession to earn a living.
On the other hand, some people tried to compensate the so called insecurity to other people. Since they don’t have the most beautiful face, they tried to keep fit and make their body built big. The sad thing, negative thoughts come to the minds of nibblers. They still criticize these individuals with full of humiliation. The humiliation could bring them into misery. We should stop bullying. We don’t want bad karma will turned to us.

There is the sayng..there but for the grace of God, go I. People should take heed as one day something bad may happen as you say karma.
It is a terrible choice to make fun of someone who has a disadvantage in life. You are correct when you say it can ruin lives and cause such misery.
I hate that there is any of this in the world for people. We are all only doing the best we can.

@TiarasOceanView I think it is also written in the Bible that if you have done bad things to others, it will overturn seventy seven times.

I never make fun of disabilities, simply because my parents taught me not to and I respect my parents, especially people I'm not familiar with, perhaps awed or shocked at first sight if it's so grotesque but pity and compassion soon takes center stage. I always think of what if that person is a loved one or it could be me.

Its' not funny but when you said shrimp head i thought it was going to say because the guy had a face that was somehow shrimp like IE: small when i read the rest I realized what you are describing and around where we live the slang term for people like that is butter face. Mostly referring to woman. Hot body butt'er face is a whole other story. Smh I think some is just that we are somewhat vain creatures.
