I Had An Interesting Day Today

After picking up my grandson from school today and dropping him off at home, I decided to run those errands that I have been putting off for a couple weeks now, because of the cold and snowy weather. The sun was warm but the wind was cold, but not too awfully bad, so I decided to go. First, I went to McDonalds and went inside this time because I wanted to try one of their specialty coffees that I’ve been seeing advertised. I got a “caramel mocha.” It was OK, so next time I’ll try another one. I also got a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. For some reason, I’ve been getting one of those more often, since now, you can get breakfast ALL DAY at McDonalds. As I sat there eating my biscuit and drinking my mocha, I saw that McDonald’s has an app, that gives “specials” from time to time, so I tried to download it on my phone, but couldn’t figure it out. I’ll get my grandson to do it tomorrow. Then, I was going to go to Walgreens and get some photos copied, but there was a car crash right at the entrance to the Walgreen’s parking lot, so I had to keep driving. I decided to go to Target and check and see what their prices were on photo copying. I ended up getting about 60 prints and two discs for $13.67. Most of the photos are for my brother who lives in Georgia and others for my grandniece who wanted some pictures of her grandfather, who was my oldest brother, who died in 1980. Then, I came home and started selecting more photos that I need copied, since I was so pleased with the price at Target compared to what they would have cost , had I gone to Walgreens. I wasn’t happy about the car crash, but I was happy that it prevented me from going to Walgreens, so that I saved some money. Before I reached my driveway though, my daughter called and asked if I wanted to go to a “Talent Show” with her at the local High School, which is right near my house. I said yes. We go to talent shows and concerts whenever we get the chance. I will write another post about the show.
