Fast food restruants calling in sick. This topic I am talking about is before we had the afforble care act. whens work in fast food, One they do not give full time most hours are like 16-20 hours a week. No major medical since it a part time job. But this is what they want some one to do if they call in sick. They wanted a doctor note. The problem is most of the people working the fast food can not afford to see a doctor. And if the person does not have a doctor note they fire them this is not a joke. This why you see a lot of sick people working fast food. For two reason one they can not afford to call in sick, two they do not want to lose their job not every state has the same laws. Not all people are able to get snap benefits(food stamp) or more so this job might just be enoughs to pay rent and their bills with nothing left over. How do I know I use to work the places. Me I rally never get sick. But I seen what was going on. Ok that it for now.

That is terrible. And not too smart to have sick people working in the fast food business. That is a huge potential to make more people sick. Here, in Canada, we have free health care.

True on that I work at a fast food restaurant and I was sick about a month ago and I called in, and one of those managers said that was fine so couple days later I go back to work and they ask me for a Dr note I told them that I went to the er and still wanted a note so had to go back to the er and I did get one finally but you're right they will fire you if you don't bring in a Dr note
