Death is a big business. Everyone will die, and everyone wants a decent burial or cremation. When you think about it, you will see that many businesses are in the death business. There are businesses selling caskets. There are businesses that own crematorium or cemeteries. You can invest in the death industry when you buy shares of listed companies in the death industry. The businesses in the death industry are profitable, but not high-profiled. Perhaps you will not think about Walmart in the death industry. However, Walmart is a serious competitor to the other players because of the low-cost coffins and urns. The way Walmart sells coffins is very factual. It offers you free shipping, and even tells you that you save a few hundred dollars by buying the coffin.

You will not see in the supermarket. I think even Walmart dare not let the customers see the coffin in display there. That is why they have online store for coffin. There will not be anyone walks in to Walmart, chooses a coffin, pays for it, and then drives off with it.

If a troublemaker wants to make trouble for his boss, he can just order a coffin online and has it delivered to the house of his boss.

Of course it is honest money. That is why Walmart is competing with the traditional businesses to sell coffin.

Had no idea that Walmart sold caskets. I was shocked that a casket is needed to be purchased to hold the body for cremation ...talk about a waste of money. I want my ashes spread over he Adirondack mountains but I want to be turned to ashes in a cardboard box. A lot less wood used in a paper box than a casket.... maybe by the time I die it will be allowed.
