Baba Sharfuddin Darga is one of the famous Dargahs I have visited and offered prayer during my tour on Motor Bike from Hyderabad to Penugonda, Hindupur and Puttaparthi. The Darga is located at Penugonda in Anantapur Dist of Andhra Pradesh state. During my tour on Motor Bike to Penugonda from Hyderabad, I happened to visit this famous shrine. I took some special time to visit this Darga though I was becoming late to PUTTAPARTI. There was huge crowd inside the Darga. The peculiarity is that even the Hindu from the local areas are visiting this sacred Darga and offering prayers. As usual, the ladies were not allowed inside the shrine. They can enter inside and sit in front of the 'SAMADHI/ TOMB'. It is quite natural in India that in some important holy and sacred places the entry is prohibited to ladies both in Hindu Temples and Dargahs as well. The ladies were sitting with utmost devotion. I went inside and placed some flowers on the SAMADHI and prayed the great saint. Gave some money voluntarily and came out with a lot of peace of mind.

I just want to ask, Are non Hindus allowed to enter the place? I mean some tourist might be able to stop buy and see the temple.

In India there is no such restriction. I was allowed along with others who went inside and offered respect to the great mystic saint.
