Clearance Save $9,919.49 on this printer, was $9,999.99. 
Do you ever witness funny glitches like this while shopping? Once in a while I will notice some and snap a photo. This one was taken awhile ago from Staples. Even after the "major" discount, I find that printer still expensive! If only the item was really worth $10 grand and on sale then it'd be an amazing day!

Well a few months ago I bought a pumpkin pie from the grocery store. Nothing fancy - just a normal sized pumpkin pie in a box. But when the cashier scanned the label, it said the pie was $62 dollars!! For that amount, it better have tasted like gold! 1 person likes this

No surprise in the pie - just me who was surprised by the overcharge! Free would have been great, but no, the cashier confessed that it happened to another person earlier. They had to get the manager to override the system to put in the correct price which was something like $2.99 .

@much2say I would be surprised also. It will be really unfortunate if someone bought that pie and did not pay attention to their receipt and paid $62 for the pie. Glad the manger override the price for you and hopefully it wasn't a long wait for the manager to come by and do the adjustment.

Ha-ha yes! For a $62 pie is there a surprise inside? Did you end up getting it for free ha-ha! As that is a huge overcharge!

We had one last week where I work when we were resetting all the movie planograms... the product was listed at a selling price of $0.00. 
ETA: After looking at that, I bet they do something in the computer system to prevent demo units from being sold. Seems like the tag is for just that one shelf display, not for the product in general.

I think its the demo / display printer being sold too. Did anyone buy the items for $0.00 of you all caught it in time.

@infatuatedbby No, I caught it because I couldn't print a tag for it with my handheld scanner. It wouldn't let me add the tag to the batch on a computer, either, and I found the price issue when I went to research what was going on.

Haha I am not a fan of Epson printers - had one in the past and ink drained quite quickly. But I didn't flag anyone down so the next person could get a laugh at it too!
