Spent some time folding bags

Over a year ago, my aunt showed me how to fold plastic grocery bags so they take up less space.
Today I finally got sick and tired of the monsterous pile and my 10 year old daughter and I folded them all up.
What was 4 shopping bags stuffed full, is now just one. We did separate the ones with holes (they are getting recycled) and the rest are being kept on hand to line various garbage cans in the house. We likely don't need them all, but they do come in handy from time to time.

I started folding my bags a couple of years ago. It really does tame the monster.

@Morethanamom I have found it so much eSier to find a bag (without holes) when I process them as they come through my door.

I wish I had started to do it when you showed me.

I just stuff the plastic bags in a plastic bag and put it in the garage. They're helpful for indoor trash. I only fold the paper bags.

I used to do that as well. Folding them cuts the size considerably.

We always get so many too so we have a bin we keep them out in the garage til we need them. We use them for pop bottles and garbage bags for certain garbage cans also
