My childhood years would never be that memorable without watching some Walt Disney classics. One time when I was sicked, what my father did to keep me company was that he rented some VHS tapes of Cinderella, Snow White, and Pinnochio. I had fun viewing these cartoon films that I forget that I was not feeling well. Pinnochio whose nose gets longer whenever he tells lies really caught my attention. I'm not sure if the one of the shows here on Philippine television serve it as their inspiration in creating a local version of Pinnochio. Both have that little boy as the protagonist, but the difference is when Honesto, the local version, tells a lie, his nose gets bigger but not longer.
