Life is a precious gift from our Maker. It is therefore our responsibility to respect it, nurture it and handle it with utmost care. It’s important to keep in mind that the quality of our lives primarily depends on the choices we make. And it is the choices we make that can be a fairly good indicator of our health and well-being 10, 20 or even 30 years from now. Hence, embracing a balanced lifestyle is the key. Today, statistics tell us that there are a large number of people- - - especially our youth, who prefer to live happily for the moment, with no thought of tomorrow. To them, happiness revolves around living recklessly, eating mindlessly, sleeping randomly and exercising minimally! But can this trend continue for long without the hazard of causing serious damage to one’s health and well-being? It’s important to take time to think: What exactly is at stake here? How would you be able to take care of your career, your family or undertake any other responsibility, if you fail to take good care of yourself? How can you not focus on embracing a balanced lifestyle? If your life is laden with stress, devoid of self-care and low energy level, how far would you go or how long would your health survive? You owe it to yourself and your family to take determined steps to navigate your life in the right direction starting from today. Believe that you can significantly do so by resorting to a balanced lifestyle. A balanced lifestyle primarily entails freeing your life from any excesses, forming good habits and discovering a sense of peace and harmony. By consistently learning to do so, you can significantly enhance your life experiences, empowering you to live a happy, healthy and productive life for many, many years to come. Cheers to a lifetime of good health!

I am trying too but for some reasons lot of things in life remain. I guess things are meant to be like that. Then again I can tell you that balance in life is harder with many things. like say time mismatch and other commitment.

Indeed yes @skynap I know from my own personal experience that its hard to pursue the path of a balanced lifestyle- - -at least in its entirety. But that should not deter anyone. Making small changes every day, could help. Just keep trying, one step at a time and you will succeed. Good Luck!

Sometimes for no fault of our own, we have some health problems.

That may be true @marlina to a certain extent. But we must try consistently to take control of our lives and most especially our health.

It takes time for one to realize the necessity of a balanced lifestyle. More often than not, it is when he starts feeling "something unusual". So, he consults a Doc. Laboratory tests are done. Results show the recklessness of the past. That is when a realization creeps in. Too late. I hope this article of yours will be read by many, especially the young.
