I should have gotten a job as a Mortician

I should have gotten a job as a Mortician long ago when I left school. Nobody likes to apply for the post of Mortician if they have a degree. That is the reason I never thought about entering the death business when I was young. After a few cycle of boom and bust in the economy, and a few period of unemployment, I come to appreciate that there is nothing certain in life except death and tax. If I had become a Mortician, I would not have to worry about job security. People die every day, and corpse needs make-up to make it presentable for the wake. I have never seen a Mortician out of job due to a recession or company restructuring. This is definitely better than earning a lot of money one year, and out of job the next year.

Oh no, I could not be in that job. I don't have the guts.

It is like a 6 month course, you should go for it. I use to work in an office and I was part of the HR and I dumped all of that white collar glory for a training in a slaughter house due to the high salary of butchers in Canada.

Being a mortician doesn't sound well but actually it pays so well. Here fewer people want to be a mortician and therefore the salary and welfare will be great for it. If you have no problem or feel embarrassed when people ask your job, then it is nothing wrong to be a mortician.

Not now. I do not like to go through all the training and start at the bottom, and work for just a few years to retirement.
