Writing on my jeans

I am reading a book right now by Jodi Picoult called Vanishing Acts. In the story the mother Elise used to write lines of poetry on her jeans. It reminded me of when I was a teenager.
I used to take crayola markers and draw on my jeans and write quotes on them. I loved it because it washes out so it didn't ruin them and I could write something else next time. I used to doodle a lot so this was a lot of fun for me. Every day people would read what I had written.
The other thing was the red and purple markers didn't wash out as well.
I have a photo of me and a friend where it shows the pants I had doodled on a lot. I tried to log into myspace to get the photo to share with you but my account must have been deleted as it has been so many years since I signed in. I wish I had kept it active I bet there is a lot of memories on there I would love to look back on now.

That is really neat that such a famous author is from your area. I love reading books by local authors. Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors. I have written a few reviews on books I have read by her. She wrote one about a bone disease. Glenn, his father and sister have the same disease but a less devastating stage.

I still have the print of the photo up in my room in a bun full of photos. I probably still have the negative as well. I just don't have a copy of it online anymore I guess. I just disconnected my scanner from my computer when I moved it or I would find it and scan it and post it. Maybe I will do that then I get my new computer hooked up. Or try to take a photo of it with my cell camera and post it. That usually doesn't turn out very well though.

I remember doing that. Writing things and doodling pictures.
