MyLot is for discussions (not for articles like many other sites).
A post is not a discussion until therer is an exchange of opinion between users. Therefore (and this is my tip for you) if you receive responses you should acknowledge them. Comment to them and get a conversation going. If they come back and coment again that is when you will see your bank starting to move because THAT is interaction.

Welcome to mylot, my suggestion would be to read the guidelines they are most helpful. My second suggestion would be to just interact with everyone. The more you interact the more you will earn. Also you don't earn points here you actually earn money.
