When I was a kid , I wanted to grow up so fast so I could get a job , earn my own money and get rich . If im already rich , then I would build my dreamhouse and a build my business. But reality sucks, its hard to work and earn money much more save it. The problems get bigger and involves a lot of people or its because now I could understand what is really happening and the consequences it entails. Sometimes, I wish I was a kid again. If only I knew that growing up is like this then I might have not wish to grow up at all.

When we were toddlers, our problem was toys, when we got a little older it became grades, then clothes, then sometimes parents, then love life, then money and career, then our children, then health issues start popping up I do not think it stops, just comes in stages.

This life has a lot of things to offer and it so happens that we tend to chase after our own dreams of living comfortably and that's why even the rich will always work hard to get more and more.So it's obvious no one ever gets contented.

Growing up I just wanted to be older. Just wanted to be an adult. I didn't realize all the responsibility associated with being an adult. But there are good things about being an adult too. I try to remember that as well. There are good things in life.

I think that is what most if not all of us ever wanted. I still blame it on greed and greed alone. Not capitalism not laziness. Not people's lack of intelligence. OK, maybe that part, but only by the greedy. Not all greedy because that is what they teach. I am talking about the people they say are not smart enough but continue to push through anyway. Greed is simply all of our problems at this point and it is getting worse sad to say.

Oh , greed as in people never gets satisfied with what they have . In some way it helped them keep pushing forward until they succeed but others because of that greed have overstepped on other people's right.

@dazzledlady Like I said, that is what they teach and you can't fault an honest person for trying to adapt to their environment.

I have to agree. mostly this could be because of health and stuff. some people get into health issues every now and then.

Hmm health issues usually are the problem when you are in your 40's . if you are between 20-30's then I think its the struggle with financial stability.

@dazzledlady I have seen health issues starting in 50s onwards. and from 60s making people less moving. so i guess 20s to 40s is the time people struggle with money and with 50s they stop dreaming and movng or takng effots.

when i was a kid, i always detest the idea of napping in the afternoon. i always ask myself why does these 'adults' keep on telling me and forcing me to sleep when what i wanted to do is to play outside or watch the tv. Now that im grown up, i wish i slept more when i was a kid. i barely have enough sleep nowadays because of so many responsibilities to do.

Ok, I think I remember that particular chapter of my childhood life as well. ??I wanted to sleep more as well nowadays and keep the problems away.
