If you could have one singer to come over your house and sing for you, Who would that be?
Well, that would be a very hard decision since I do like a lot of music. But, if I had to choose one, I guess it'd have to be Allison Krauss and Union Station. I love her voice and think she's a great singer, not only that, but, a great fiddle player as well. She's been here in the states for a very long time. So, who would you ask to come over and sing to you if you could have one singer?

Oh, man! I just love James Hetfield! I think he's a great singer, songwriter, and guitarist! He's awesome, but, not as awesome as Kirk Hammit! Kirk usually sends riffs to James to let him see what he thinks before they start writing for a song. That's cool that they are still writing, and performing together after all of these years. I love Metallica! Haven't seen them in concert yet, but, hopefully I will get to one day!

@danny1971 Oh cool. They put on a great show. I seen them for the first time in 2004? I seen them two times since.
The crowd is usually filed with all sorts of fans. From 10 year olds to fans that are about 95 who you'd think would snap their neck if they didnt' stop head banging!

Interesting topic. I'd go with John Grant from former Denver band The Czars, and now solo. Most beautiful voice I've heard come out of a man.

Thanks for that man. I've not heard of John Grant or The Czars. What type of genre are they @teamfreak16? Thanks for responding!!!

@danny1971 - They described themselves as Radiohead meets alt-country, which was fairly accurate for a lot of their stuff.

@teamfreak16 Oh OK. That's pretty cool. I'll have to check them out on Youtube one day. They sound pretty neat to listen to. Thanks for sharing!

I have two options: Don Henley or Boz Scaggs. I think Henley has the best voice in rock and roll, but I also think he's got a terrible attitude. He'd probably try to tell me how to behave in my own house (he had extra security at his shows last fall, making sure people didn't get up in dance or take pictures of him with their cell phones), and I just can't take the mix.
Boz also has a fabulous voice, smoky and soulful. He can do just about anything, too, from rock (he was originally in the Steve Miller Band) to R&B to pop standards.
PS -- Alison's brother played bass with some friends of mine in the 90's!

I like Don Henley too. I think he does have an amazing voice, but, do agree that he does seem to have an attitude in him. Which, isn't a good thing. That's cool that some of your friends have played bass with Allison's brother!
