My daughter called yesterday to see if I could babysit today, no problem. This morning she called again, she didn't need me to watch the kids, but it was still the opportunity for me to get some time with Naomii, and hopefully she would stop crying every time she saw me.
Didn't happen. She took off crawling to the other side of the room as far from me as possible and howling at the same time.
I'll be going back on Friday's from now on to try and get Naomii to feel safe around me.
Gizelle on the other hand couldn't wait to jump in my arms. We had tickle fun, made a puzzle together - one of those giant foam puzzles. This one was of Elmo. We watched some TV - PBS kids shows. There was a reading one on and I saw how she's learning the sounds of the letters

Now if I could have the same fun with Naomii. Hopefully soon.

so far okay few minor problems wait\ing for rep air man to fix my toilet so it will flush and he care giver who was going to put the c ream on my leg came while I was on the pot so he has yet to show up but he did s ay he would be back. this is s o silly as if I wa allowed have the cream inmy room I wuld pu it on my own legs twice a day no need for a care giver to bother.. hope little Naomi finally starts trusting yo u. the first time my son as a baby saw my mom he burst into teats but once he got used to her he was grandma's pet for sure.

Well glad you had a good time with the kids and atleast one of them has warmed up to you. I'm sure the other one will in time.

Naomii is one year old. Getting some alone time with her is the hard part. She just crawls as fast as she can away from me, crying the whole time.

stop by whenever you can, play with Gizelle and ignore naomi, actually might be best if everyone ignored her. she'll get past it.
