The KLF was the brainchild of Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, both of whom had previously recorded as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (the JAMS.)
As The KLF, the duo hit big with their 1991 album The White Room, which peaked at #31 on Billboard's 200 chart, but received heavy play in Denver club's in the early 1990's.
"Last Train to Transcentral" was one of those songs, an intense dance floor packer that hit the Billboard Hot Dance Music chart, stalling at #17. It was an international hit, even landing at #1 in Finland.
And rightly so. It's a high energy tune that is as much fun to listen to as it is to dance to. The link below will take you to the official video.

That's very trippy house sounding.

Total high-energy acid house. Love that album. They had Tammy Wynette do vocals on one. And it worked!

This one is on my playlist too - though I always preferred 3AM Eternal. KLF was a one-of-a kind outfit.

Oh, I listen to 3AM Eternal quite a bit as well. That whole album is great.
