Maid of the Mist - Niagara Falls

As I was rummaging through my photos I found this one taking me back to the day when I opted to ride on that boat for an experience. We were taken very close to the gushing water of the Niagara Falls getting the mist all over us.
We were given raincoats as without them we would have been completely drenched.
The raincoats were blue in colour.
I also took that ride from the Canadian side wearing a yellow raincoat.

@allknowing I'm sure it does. I remember walking over a bridge over a small side part of the river to the falls (American side). For years after I had dreams about that river...

@dawnald Whenever I take package tours I opt for everything that is offered. Afterall I will never get to do that again. I regret not having done one thing and that is to ski sitting on rubber tyres at Jung Frau Switzerland

The boat is packed with people and so there is no reason why one should be afraid.

@allknowing Our main water fall is much much smaller, obviously, and watching the jet boat rides get close to that is quite scary.

I have been to Niagara Falls but we did not go on the Maid of the Mist. I am sure it was quite exciting it looks great.

@jaboUK I noticed it by chance. I thought this large version of pictures did justice to the images which I now know that is not the case. I hope @myLotBugs looks into this.

Wow, you experience the riding on the boat so that you can get much closer to the Niagara Falls, that's my one wish to experience, seeing and coming closer to that wonderful Falls. My sister is always inviting me to visit them so that I can see that.
