Here's a strange one, it is my son's computer, it powers up when you turn it on, the monitor lights up, i have hooked his tower to my monitor, my tower to his monitor. The problem is,,,my tower works on his monitor, his tower on the other had is not showing anything on my monitor. It isn't making any unusal sounds either. I am not sure what to do or how else to explain it. It's almost like the whole thing just cleaned it self of everything. Any ideas?

No we didn't we left it alone, he used it Monday night, Tuesday he went to use it and what I explained earlier is what we have now. I am at my wits end now.

Try to do what i am going to tell you! Do you use Windows XP? Go to Control Panel - Power options - Disable hibernate - and enable advance power management. Restart the PC and after that turn it off. Tell me more about the PC configuration.

My PC has a "problem", when I log on he says "product not installed". I really don´t understand what I´ve done to that appears. By the way for you what Anti Virus it´s better'

I use Karpersky, and windows firewall, they work very good together. And tell me more about your problem, if you can.
