Chris Christie endorses Donald Trump - Surprise!

Ain't politics wild? A few weeks ago, when he was still in the Republican presidential race, Gov. Christie stated unequivocally that Donald Trump was unfit to be president of the United States. Now, today, Trump and the New Jersey governor are best buds. Catching just about everybody by surprise, Chris Christie has endorsed Donald Trump for president. Obviously, something really changed when Gov. Christie closed down his own campaign. I think we can be excused for wondering what that change was. Is it that Donald Trump suddenly reformed and became the most wonderful presidential candidate in the entire Republican Party? Or is it that Gov. Christie realized that he is term limited in his present job (he can't run for governor again), and with the presidency off the table, he needs to be looking around for his next gig. Maybe a cabinet post under President Trump? Politics makes for strange bedfellows.
