Unfortunately I failed to save this one

A few minutes after a walk to that kitten that I saved earlier, I saw this one, dead on the road. But I didn't see it earlier except for two gardeners watering those street plants on the side walk. Suddenly, I realize these kittens were deliberately thrown by a cat owner and probably got away with it. It's possible too that she was on the road as well but I wasn't around the area at that time and got HIT. This is why I didn't hesitate to save his kin, didn't realize the kitten had a sibling few meters apart. They were thrown away no doubt about it, there's no way they would go that far on their own. I wish the moron just neutered their cat instead of this..

Oh! It's a sight I don't like to see! Why are some cat owners like that, throwing helpless kittens?! BTW, that little one is no ordinary kitten. It's a Calico kitten!

Is it a breed cat? well, who better threw this little one didn't know that. @KnehKnah kinda remind me that I used to have one, and they were all adorable. i feel guilty for not being there and chose to hang outin my brother's house more instead of hurrying myself back. Yes, I do remember having one, and she was the sweetest and got hit by a vehicle too.

Filipinos in general don't toilet train their cats. They expect the cat to learn pooping outside on their own. Instead of buying a liter box and teaching them how to use it.

@Letranknight2015 I pity that little one, my dear. She looks like our calico kitten which was given to me by a friend. She was so cute, furry & sweet. I named her December. December was loved by our family instantly! She used to sleep in a shoe box with a stuffed toy given by our youngest daughter. Maybe she thought of having a walk one night. She never came back. We looked for her the morning after. There was no trace. A daughter of mine said maybe December was brought home by a passer by. BTW, no. Calico refers only to a color pattern on the fur, not to a breed. But most of calico cats are female. In case there happens to be a male, it is said to be seldom & is sterile.

the kitten must be given a better burial by not throwing away on the road, but digging the grounds and burying her. So sad.

@Letranknight2015 so, the owner let the kitten be run over by the passing vehicles?

Most Filipinos dont like cats because they expect the cat to learn how to poop outside. The concept of liter box do not exist here. I notice most Filipinos will keep their cat if they learned to poop and pee outside. If they do it inside the house they will bag the cat and throw it away. Cat liter boxes are overpriced in the Philippines so it didnt became basic necessity here compared to United States. We don't really need a city pound for cats to solve the problem of homeless cats situation. If the government will just spay and neuter all stray cats and set them free it won't be a problem and cats will have an easier time to find homes.

@Letranknight2015 I don't live with my parents for that reason. They kept on saying they were allergic to animals and they kept complaining about poops when I am the one who does the cleaning and not them. I train my cat to use a liter box and I just use shredded news paper with sand and ash as my cat litter. My house dont stink at all.

I haven't seen a Liter box here yet @CaptAlbertWhisker No wonder i don't see liter box in some of our friends house. most of them are outside you can see what they little do. The government doesn't care about animals, they won't even spent a single dime for it. There was one show in gma were all of her cats are inside the cage. My mom claims she's allergic and hate their poop. i know it stinks but whos' going to get rid of snakes when they come with detection, right?

That's so cruel for the owner to do this. They should have given to other people instead.

Oh, this isn't the first time I've seen something like this. Only this time I'm no longer allowed to adopt @Shavkat I wonder how much do you for neutering your pets in this country..

@Letranknight2015 I neutered my female cat for 500 pesos. that depends on the clinic. Some clinics charges lower or higher than that.

People are so sick in the head. Why not take the kittens to a no kill shelter.

Because there is no kill shelter, there's one shelter in this country that i know of and it doesn't take stray kittens or cats. we don't get that kind of support here.

Aw, poor kitty! I'm glad you were at least able to save the other one. It's a shame people treat animals like that. It happens here, too, even though we have shelters and such. They should not be letting their cats have kittens if they don't want to care for them.

Poor kitty The person who did this probably had too many stray cats in their neighborhood. Throwing some of them on the streets would be effective population control instead of having them neutered. They dont know that cats are the arch enemies of venomous snakes that sometimes enter our houses undetected.

I think the owner didn't realize how important this kitty is. I know there's a few cat owners in the nearby subdivision, there's no way they can go there on their own. I hate myself knowing that I can never have a cat that would detect cats and snakes in the house. I bet some of them are in the ceiling now. @KnehKnah yeah i think the owner had too many cats now that these kittens were a bit of excess.
