What do you think of life insurance and medical insurance ?

There are many insurance company in this world today and they all claim that they will offer great plans for you and you will have more protection when things happen in your life. However, the agents who keep on selling insurance to you seems only care about his commission. Once they got you sign up for their insurance, they won't care about you anymore. When you face your claim in medical or life insurance issues, they will always delay their action in helping you since they feel that they will receive no benefit from the follow up work anymore. That's quite true in my city but I am not sure about yours. Share with us ?
