Enjoying the Warm

When I lived in California if the temperature got down into the 60's F we were all freezing. Since moving to Wisconsin 15 years ago my feeling cold has really changed. Today it is 51 F outside and the sun is shining...it is glorious!! I have the windows open and I've gone for a walk to enjoy this great day. While we still have a bit of winter left, I'm enjoying this most comfortable February day!

It is 51 here today but I am still cold. I moved here to Minnesota from sunny Arizona and I find it is hard for me to become warm. I can't wait til the temps are up around 80 and over so I can become warm again.

How long have you lived there? It took me a while in the beginning and I still have days that the cold gets to me, but I am amazed how good 51 can feel to me now.

@kamel622 I have lived here just a little over a year now, the summer was fine and that first winter was not bad but this year the winter was terrible cold and snowy.

Yes it is that we adjust to temperatures whereever we live. It is warm to you now that you are used to the cold temps in Wisconson. That would be cold in California. Enjoy

Yes it would...when I talk to California friends they can't believe how I can say that 50 is nice and warm and I know I felt the same way before moving here.

You bet!! I just love it...but it is supposed to rain and possible snow flurries tomorrow. We just got very lucky today!

We don't usually get this warm of a day until sometime in March or April. I love it!

Since moving here from warm Arizona climate I am absolutely freezing even though it is 50 here today. As I get older I don't seem to get warm to often unless it is around 80 degrees.

yes Im chilled amd s no qu e 70 think my bloodsthinned as I have loived here in S ohern california now for a long time came from cold state South Dakota.

It is funny. I lived in the middle of the desert once when I arrived it was 50 degrees Celsius in the summer. Come December the temperature went down to about 25. I was still feeling the heat as 25 degrees was about 20 degrees higher that what is was used to at that time of year. I was sunbathing while the locals were wearing padded winter coats.

I know what you mean about California. I was cold so cold the other day when it was 54 out here in Northern California.
