Do you plan on watching the Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil this summer? I love watching the countries and their flagbearers march around the stadium. I also love watching the swimming competition and equestrian events and gymnastics along with the canoeing. Are you looking forward to the sports competitions and celebrations that will be held ?

I am always interested in watching the Olympics. I am not sure whether the time is suitable for me to watch because of the time zone. I have to work in day time and therefore I can only watch the live games at night. Hopefully the zika virus will be under control since it somewhat has an effect on the Olympics.

@youless I understand the difficulty in watching the Olympics when you are working as you only have certain hours you can watch the games. Hopefully you will have some time to watch the games.

I rarely get to watch them for one reason or another Marcy. Thanks for the reminder however as this year I will like to watch them. It is really great all the regalia and such.

I love watching them on TV but I don't know if my busy schedule will allow me to. The varied performances and cultures never cease to amaze me.

No, I was never into the Olympics. Too many "pros" (basketball etc) participating, so called amateur athletes from China and the old USSR who were seasoned veteran pros, too many steroid cheaters. I get the popularity of the pomp and circumstance and certain event and more power to viewers enjoying them.
