Colonizing Venus?

Right now the most popular heavenly bodies Nasa and other space travel agencies wanted to colonize are the red planet aka Mars and The icy moon Europa.
I am sure most of us already know why Mars is a popular choice for human colonization and that is the fact it is the closest planet we can compare to earth. For sure it is a Hostile environment but it as a big potential home for millions of humans and we all know our planet is currently over populated.
Jupiter's moon Europa is also a popular choice because it has oceans. We humans needed water to survive and Europa has water. That is enough reason why Both NASA and the Russian government wanted a piece of it.
Venus on the other hand is not a popular choice because it is a hot planet and it is comparable to the Biblical version of hell. The rover NASA sent to Venus years ago got destroyed for few hours. I don't think any Astronauts will want to walk on the surface of Venus.
This may sound weird but NASA now see Venus as a potential home for humans. . Though Venus looks like something Satan will call home, A certain part of it's skies have the same temperatures with our planet. NASA thinks that it is possible to build balloon Cities in the Venusian skies where people can live peacefully. This planet is named after the Goddess of Beauty and love and it looks like it might be getting some love soon because NASA is now planning planning to send astronauts to Mars. The astronauts wont land in Venus' surface because it is suicidal but they will fly around the skies of Venus inside a hot air balloon skyship.
I am one of those people who applied to be an Astronaut on NASA's rival Mars one because I want to go to Mars but someone as crazy as me won't be crazy enough to volunteer to Venus.
If Earth will get destroyed and the only home options for me are Mars, Europa and Venus, I might go for Europa because it has water.
I embedded a video of about NASA's plan about Venus:

@CaptAlbertWhisker This is really interesting . I had no idea about all this going on. Not really my area of interest. Well if those two are interested in Europa I wonder how long it will be before one of them puts missiles on the planet.

@suzzy3 They focus on Mars at this moment. The moon Europa is theorized to be have a manned mission around 2050.

By Far only US and Russia are interested with Europa. Europa is not the only moon of Jupiter with oceans. Callisto and Ganymede have oceans too but Europa have the most water.

I am curious about the experience to come to Mars. Last year, there was a news regarding the people from the Philippines who were ready to fly in Mars.

Mars one already chosen their Astronauts I believe. Only 3 Filipinos made their top 40 if my memory serves me right and they were all women. I am one of the applicants but I got cut.
I wonder if there will be people who were willing to be willing to live in a balloon in Venus. Yup There are now plans to send people to the inferno known as Venus,

Then hit the balloons with needles. I wonder how durable those balloons are. The glass domed cities of Mars look cooler for me. I am sure you had seen that concept many times.
This is what the balloon cities of Venus will look like:

I thought mars one is a scam? I mean the didn't mention that it takes more than 20 years of planning just to get there. well, i hope your application will have success, but like i said some of the applicants had been complaining already about this mars one project.

I already gave up on Mars one. Many scientist think the Venus colony is actually cheaper than a Mars colony because it is just a balloon but living inside a balloon sounds scary. A scissor knife can kill the whole crew.

@Letranknight2015 I will migrate to mars once few batches of people already established it. I like Europa more than mars though, Europa have water and seeing Jupiter in the sky will probably amazing.
I am not that confident about the Venus Balloon cities though. if the balloon crash you will go directly to oceans of lava.

So would you like to live inside a balloon city given a chance?
