How's your driving?

Philippines

Now that everyone's in a hurry and are not being cautious anymore, how do you feel about the driving skills in your country? Here in the Philippines, it seems like time is gold and in order for them to get more passengers or get to their meetings on time, they get careless only to regret their actions later. I am thinking of getting a driving license for emergency purposes only but I am wary of this and is thinking if I should still secure one.

It is chaotic here as well. Everybody trying to rush. Matatus and buses rushing so that they cam make more trips and hence more money. Motor bikes doing the same and so accidents now and then

That is what I am saying, people want to make more money that they do not care if they will be hurting others in the process.

If you drive, drive defensively and be safe.

hard to do that here in the Philippines but I guess you just need to set an example, if you can.

lol some drivers are stupid, they got that "hows my driving?" sign with a number on it and still they tend to scam people and commit crime!

that is very true. I wonder if there should be a stricter implementation about driving.

I am a pretty safe driver and so are most people in Japan. Our roads are narrow and there are a lot of bicycles and pedestrians, plus Japanese people tend to be on the cautious side. I have nearly been mowed down by teenage boys on bicycles, though.

the roads here in the Philippines are narrow too. When I went abroad, I just realised that the highways we have here are actually just normal roads in other countries.
