Why are Afro-Americans so in love with Hillary Clinton?

I noticed that Hillary Clinton won the South Carolina primary with heavy support from Afro-Americans and that she is favored in most southern states because of her support from Afro-Americans. I understand that Bill Clinton was the first "black" President, but haven't some of his actions as President hurt Afro-Americans? I'm referring to Clinton getting a bill passed in 1996 which expanded the power of the police in going after all kinds of crime. This has led to calls of police brutality against Afro-Americans which the Black Lives Matter movement is protesting about. Hasn't this action harmed Hillary at all?

Because African Americans have been taught/indoctrinated to hate anybody with an "R" after their name. You would think they would dig Bernie and all his free stuff promises. They are the most brutal on their fellow African Americans who are Republican. If African Americans are disappointed in Obama, why do they think they will get more stuff from Clinton? The term Black Lives Matter is racist to the extreme. ALL LIVES MATTER be you white, black, Hispanic, Asian, Muslim, whatever.

@JohnRoberts , I agree that African-Americans have been indoctrinated to hate Republicans. It is a wonder that they wouldn't support a socialist like Sanders. Didn't Bernie actually demonstrate for CORE in the early 60s and even get arrested for the cause of blacks at that time?
