I suppose to just keep the job I have now as temporary as it is not really that much when it comes to financial gain. But as I go along, it seems to be fun and I am now enjoying it. Now I am having a hard time to decide if I just stay since I am having fun as of the moment. But I am aware that it is not the best option for my long term goal. Have you faced this issue yourself before?

If you're happy with your present job even if you receive less then go with it, anyway you haven't find yet a good job..

You're right. Maybe I should just stay while I am still looking for a better one.

Many times. Usually I stayed with a job because the pay was better than finding another and starting over again at the bottom of the pay scale.

It seems to be different from my situation now as I am still new to this job. It is supposed to be a temporary one so I can have something while waiting for a better one.

@cherriefic I hope you either become permanent or find a better one you like.

I have not faced this kind of dilemma before but if i were in your shoes i would keep this job you are starting to enjoy now. Looking for a job is not easy these days. You are one of the lucky ones to have one. I suggest you let go of this job if and only when you have found the best job for you.

@cherriefic Thats great. I suggest you let go of your current job when you have accepted a better job offer and have signed a contract with them.

That's the plan. I better just look for something that will really compensate the fun I am having right now.

Unless something definitely better has come around then you should just stay which should not be too hard since you're enjoying it anyway.

Yeah, that's the hard part if you are already having fun.

If there is nothing else in the near future, you might as well stay a while longer.

I am still thinking about that. But then again, my priority is to get a better compensation.

Indeed, sometimes it's hard to leave a workplace when you are having fun. I've experienced that before. But if you have a goal in mind, you'd have to make some sacrifices. Question is, do you presently have a new job opportunity that will put you closer to your goal? If not yet, then stick with the job you have now. But if an opportunity presents itself and you know this will help you achieve your dreams, then I'd say go for it. Good luck!

Thanks! I agree with what you said. It is really a hard decision to make but we have to do what we have to do.

Sometimes we do things not that they have a positive impact but because maybe it is keeping you occupied before you venture into better commitments.

Yeah. I guess that I have to remain focus with my goals.

I guess you can keep it for now but always have an open option for a much better financial gain.

Yes. So, I just ask a trusted person (sister or bestfriend or boyfriend) to decide for me :-D

I usually just ask myself so in case I screwed up, I can only blame myself.
