From the iPod #9 - "Connected"

Formed in the mid 80's, Stereo MC's is a British band specializing in hip-hop-style dance tunes. The group is probably best-known for their international hit "Connected," which crossed over to the mainstream, peaking at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Connected" has one of my all-time favorite dance grooves, an infectious beat complimented by the hip-hop-inspired vocals of Rob Birch. (And yet, it's not at all hip-hop in the way that I classify hip-hop. It sounds nothing like my favorite hip-hop act's, such as Public Enemy or NWA or Ice -T.) It IS, however, one damn fun dance/party tune (good for jogging, too) that, when it comes up on my iPod 's shuffle mode, I end up listening to it about 20 times before finally moving on.
