Do you think most 18 wheeler trailer trucks have accidents in the city because of driver fatigue?

I think it's the traffic and the congestion and sometimes I think it's the road conditions. But I have seen more on the news lately of accidents causing big rigs to hit retaining walls and blocking traffic for several miles. Is it due to driver fatigue or to driver impatience or mechanical failure or some other thing?

Yesterday there was a 4 vehicle accident involving a semi but it was not the semi drivers fault as a car veered into the semi and caused 2 other cars to hit either the semi or the car that was at fault. I haven't heard anything yet how the people are doing but I do know some were taken to the hospital.

And all this could be changed for the better. All we need is slower speed limits on mix masters and high fives.
