Sixth Commandment
This one says it all. Not only is it against God’s law to kill another person, but man’s law as well.
Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
Deuteronomy 5:17 Thou shalt not kill. (KJV)
However, did you know God goes further than man in what God considers murder?
Exodus 21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, (KJV)
God considers all life sacred, even an unborn child, so that if that life is taken, it is murder.
Man allows for abortion. God doesn’t.
Jesus also had something to say about murder.
Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (KJV)
We all know anger can lead to murder. Therefore, it’s best to control your anger and you won’t be guilty of murder or anything else that could see your eternity in Hell. Of course that’s easier said than done.
If you don’t want to pay the high penalty for murder, both in man’s court and in God’s, it’s best to follow the path of peace and live peaceably with your brother.
Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. (KJV)
When we live in peace with everyone, we won’t kill anyone and we won’t fall under anyone’s judgment, especially God’s.

I have never been in favor of abortion.
